“Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.” Leonardo da Vinci

Maximum Safety

The first flights. Your heart beats to your throat. Launch your glider, feel the lifting power, lose the ground under your feet. Nothing has ever been more exciting.

Maximum safety under the wing and confidence in the instructor are the basic requirements for starting your paragliding pilot career. The "Fancy" by Papillon Paragliders has achieved the highest marks in extensive tests for passive safety, and the paragliding instructors love them. Also if you want to fly in the mountains during your holidays, "Fancy" is your right choice.

We based it on the experience of the European largest paragliding school - Papillon Paragliding from Germany. This glider combines all the features that allow you a safe and successful entry into the aviation sport. The Fancy accompanies you on your way from a pedestrian to a pilot.

It offers uncompromising safety with our latest innovative technology. The Pressure Balance Valves (PBV) in the lower sail provide additional ventilation at the extreme angle of attack. They activate when a quick pressure build-up is required. During a collapse, valve by valve will open and dissipates the air to the canopy. The other side will remain optimally filled and unaffected. In the B-stall, the valves open over the entire wing width, the canopy sinks smoothly and controlled with 8 to 10 meters per second.

The PVBs provide impressive collapse resistance and generally forgiving flight characteristics. The PBV also gives exceptionally easy take-off. The system works so well and quickly that it prevents any inclination to overshoot at take-off. The glider has been designed to ensure maximum safety and to forgive pilot errors.

In spite of all the safety, the FANCY is not missing out on the fun aspect of flying.

Fancy features innovative line geometry. To achieve minimal resistance, we have split the lines into 2 at the A, 3 at the B (inc. Stabilos) and 2 at the C level. Four (4) different line diameters from 0.95mm to 2.2mm represent the optimum balance between durability and the lowest possible cross-sections.

The "FANCY" can reach 39 km/h on trim speed and if accelerated up to 48 km/h.
